The Real Saga

Saga John Galliano is quite grand, eh? Well, if you'd like the full episode...you can find it under the related videos on YouTube. I just didn't want to post a bunch of embed videos. When John Galliano lost his financial backer for his Fall 1994 collection, Andre Leon Talley hopped in and convinced Sao Schlumberger to host Galliano's show in her Paris Mansion. Luckily, the collection and Sao's home can be found in this-here video, a rarity since its older than myself. Notice the disturbing amount of cigarette smoke in Sao's house---its nauseating. Nonetheless, this video is a must see!

Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2010

Chanel Haute Couture S/10 was easily my favorite as to date. I thought the "short-suits" were a fantastic, modern approach to the Classic Chanel skirt-suit. How fantastic was the finale; Baptiste as the "Tin Man"? Baptiste reminded me of my Kindergarten Halloween costume, emphasis on Tin Man! Also, Dior was quite boring,no? I love Galliano, but you always know what to expect; a bombardment of Historical references as apposed to anything Modern.
