Fall 2011: Menswear: Prada

Miuccia Prada delivered a Clark Griswald friendly collection for the Fall 2011 season; the clothes were kitsch as was the two-story set toppled over linoleum. Tim Blanks shared his thoughts on the range to Style.com, "[Prada's Fall 2011 offerings are] the kind of items a flashy traveling salesman might have donned in the sixties or the seventies to cruise the casino...".

Fall 2010: Milan Top Five

Emilio Pucci:

Emilio Pucci was extremely hot, from head-to-toe. I loved the sexiness and somewhat erotic vibe found in the sheer, laced-up numbers. However, the Hair reminds me of Ke$ha (not good).

Prada:

I hate to reiterate but, Prada was quite erotic with the accentuated bust and exaggerated shape. I also love that normal models were thrown into the mix (for once); however, for Miuccia to be one of the first of the season is quite odd. Maybe its a sign?

Dsquared2:

Dsquared2 is typically trashy and mostly denim. However, this season was mostly leather and fur (with the appropriate amount of 'trashy). I think it was one of their best collections [as of late].

Etro:

I don't normally pay much attention to Etro, since its usually cluttered with Maxi dresses and paisley prints. However, this collection was impeccably styled and tailored.

Versace:

At Versace, tailored coats and knitwear were paired with metallic crotch-skimming dresses. You know how I enjoy juxtaposition.
