Spring 2012: Thakoon

After watching the live stream of Thakoon Panichgul's Spring 2012 collection, I instantly thought, "Grannies Gone to Reno" (in the best possible way) - due to it's Lilly Pulitzer esque prints, candy colored hair, color blocked cowboy hats & gold lamè flooring. Granted, Thakoon thought of something slightly different: the perspective of America from afar, as narrated by India.

Adam Kimmel's first runway show surrounded the idea of surfing in the dark. Kimmel told style.com's Tim Blanks, "making menswear, it's sexy to think of the dark side".
